The "Digging" Report Q4 2002

December 31, 2002

My Personal "Mutual Fund" OTC:RASXX

After making fresh lows in this 30+ months old bear market, the major indexes rallied intensely. However, only the NASDAQ and the Russell 2000 kept an upward slope during the first 4 weeks of the rally. All said, this was another relief rally inside the prolonged bear that has no signal to end yet. By early December the advance halted at the 200-day moving average, which has been acting as resistance. Although the retreat does not appear to be serious, it does not bode well for the market. It appears that 2003 will have a rocky start.
