The "Digging" Report Q2 2003

June 30, 2003

"If something can go wrong, it will", from Murphy's laws

My Personal "Mutual Fund" OTC:RASXX

Note: OTC means Over The Counter. The ticker symbol is fictitious; please don't ask your broker to buy it. In the rare event that such a ticker does exist please inform me at once, in order to change it. I don't want to mislead anyone.

At last! The market is again above the 200 day EMA. This rally looks more healthy and with more possibilities. Too sad that I have to approach it with limited resources. My personal finances are in trouble and getting worse by the month. I try to keep a positive face although the picture is extremely bleak. It almost seems unfair that after the long wait for the bear to retire I have to watch from the sidelines. Well, that last part is not entirely true. However I resent the fact that I had to tap into my investment accounts to help sustain myself instead of using it for the growth I had been anxiously waiting for. However I should not let a temporary setback to blur the big picture. As William O'Neil, owner of Investor's Business Daily is fond of saying, every year there are great opportunities in America to make money.
