Southeast Lake Tahoe, NV 1998
This
is one o the many mini parks around the lake. Except for a couple of local
residents we had the entire area at our disposal. This was also my first
experience with the self pay system. Really at first I was shocked by the
sense of honesty that the authorities expect from the public. I saw a police
car enter the place and he didn't bother to check if we had the receipt,
which I had at hand, of course.
If
you are wondering about that little mountain being the Wile E. Coyote tunnel
site... Yes, you are right, that is Cave Rock Tunnel. Sorry, no sight of
either the "Carnivurus Vulgaris" (Coyote) or the "Hot rodicus
supersonicus"
(Roadrunner). |
